Rocky Mount, N.C. — Two brothers were shot early Sunday during a large party at a Sharpsburg home, police said.
George Ruffin Jr., 18, was killed. Travis Ruffin, 22, was listed in serious condition Sunday afternoon at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Police said the brothers were involved in an altercation during the party, at 124 Weaver Circle, and then witnesses heard gunshots.
The shooting is under investigation. Police have not identified any suspects.
