Fayetteville, N.C. — Fayetteville police released security images and surveillance video Friday of two men wanted for robbing a sweepstakes cafe and assaulting an employee and customer.
The crime happened around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday at Little Vegas SweepStakes City, at 2897 Owen Drive.
Investigators say the men – Gregory James Alexander Burgess, 27, and Lonnel Deangelo McRae, 25 – showed handguns and left in a dark blue 2008 Chevrolet Colorado that belongs to the customer. The truck, with silver trim on the exterior, had a matching truck bed cover and an Alabama Crimson Tide sticker in the rear window.
Burgess, whose last known address is on Wayside Drive in Fayetteville, stands 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 189 pounds. He has a light complexion, close-cut hair and short facial hair.
McRae, whose last known address is on Glen Reilly Road in Fayetteville, is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 145 pounds. He has a tattoo, "Death B4 Dishonor" on his forearm. He has a dark complexion and dreadlocks that were pulled back and under a light-blue handkerchief.
Both men are wanted on two counts each of robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy and second-degree kidnapping.
