Raleigh, N.C. — Police say there are no apparent signs of foul play in the death of a Chapel Hill woman whose body was found Thursday morning in a downtown Raleigh parking deck.
Officers found Miriam Hazelene Scott, 46, around 6:45 a.m. in a stairwell, at 128 W. South St., near the Raleigh Convention Center.
Her body has been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Chapel Hill for an autopsy, a police spokesman said.
He did not have further details about the case.
