print friendly

A Roxboro man fired from one vehicle into another Friday evening in an attempt to kill a man, police said.

Police Chief Todd Boycher said that Hubert Allen was a passenger in a vehicle and fired into another vehicle occupied by two people on U.S. Highway 501, near Weeks Drive. A bullet grazed a man's neck and damaged his car. The man was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

Allen was arrested a few hours later and charged with attempted murder.

Police did not disclose a possible motive.

WOW! Police needs to start a road-check to see who have illegal guns in their possession. Every week is this kind of story and even some or being killed. Wake up people something needs to be done about situations like this.

drugs I'm sure....or drinking...one or the other is usually the problem.

There had been a confrontation between the 2 earlier. And in Roxboro, anything can happen!!!

he was thinking about murdering the passenger of another vehicle... Criminals gonna criminalize

What was he thinking? Why would he consider this to be okay?
