La Grange, N.C. — Firefighters estimated 7,000 turkeys died early Wednesday when fire destroyed a large turkey house off of Brothers Road outside La Grange.
The building, a simple wooden frame with a tin roof, burned to the ground just before dawn.
No people were injured, and the cause of the fire had not yet been determined.

Not really sure what your rant is all about. This was a fire in the early morning hours. What in the devil do government workers have to do with it? And why should the person raising them be penalized? Fires happen for many reasons....electrical, storm or even arson. Until we know what may have caused the fire I think we should refrain from such vitrial.
