The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Fayetteville man accused of sexually abusing two young girls.

Jeffrey Woodrow Walker, 28, of 4038 McKinnon Road, was charged Monday with two counts of statutory rape, one count of sexual offense and two counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor.

He was being held in the Cumberland County jail under a $225,000 secured bond.

Investigators say Walker inappropriately touched two girls, aged 11 and 12, and forced them to engage in sex acts with him.

He is due in court Tuesday afternoon.

This man should be locked up for 60 years. Pray that the girls will be OK and will get some counseling.

"A Texas man beat a guy to death after he caught him molesting his daughter. If charges are pressed against the father I bet he's acquitted. AestheticStyle"

It depends where in Texas it is tried, There are some civilized places in Texas.

@ djofraleigh- seriously, spare us the liberal psychobabble. I never knew somebody had to "look" like a monster in order to be one.

You cannot fix these people. -- comment

This guy doesn't look like a monster even in his mug shot.

--- make this type of crime carry severe prison time.

Imprison forever; kill without a trial; in our responses there is anger. Are those reactions the actions we need to take? Or, are they what we feel like doing just after reading the article?

People are sexual...and from that lots of things stem. Advertisers know this and utilize it in product sales.

People are sexual...and those urges manifest themselves in varied preferences, all learned, much by chance and opportunity. We have expectations of sex roles, taboos, but nothing works absolutely to control our urges. People are also violent natured on impulse.

Execute him. Period. Maybe if the death penalty was used more, there would be less violent crime. But noooo, not in NC! Jason Williford brutally rapes and murders Kathy Taft and gets life. This state's criminal justice system is a joke. I'm moving to Texas!
