Shooting in Goldsboro leaves one dead

Goldsboro, N.C. — A 23-year-old Goldsboro man died late Wednesday after being shot in the 600 block of West Holly Street around 11 p.m., authorities said.

Goldsboro police responded to a call about a shooting and found Delinado Alijuwon Miller, of the 800 block of W. Oak Street, dead at the scene.

Investigators haven't released other details about the case, such as a possible motive or a description of a suspect.

I used to live 2 blocks from where this shooting happened. There have been 3 recent shooting deaths in Goldsboro and all of them happened around this area. I'm so glad that I moved away. These days I don't even feel comfortable driving through this area, it just keeps getting worse and worse.

A loaded gun in the wrong hands. Young men loosing their life at at very young age. Their life has not really begun and now its has ended. Wake up parents and see why your sons if carrying around loaded guns?
