Fayetteville, N.C. — Fayetteville police investigating a home break-in Thursday arrested three people and were searching for a 16-year-old suspect.

Officers responding to a break-in happening in the 7000 block of Calamar Drive around 7 p.m. tried to stop a 2012 Nissan Maxima that matched a description of the suspects' car, police said. The Nissan driver stopped in a yard, and three men ran from the car.

A woman who stayed by the car was arrested, and a probation officer listening to police radio chatter caught a suspect at a McDonald's restaurant at Reilly and Cliffdale roads, police said. Another suspect was also arrested later.

Police are still searching for Kenneth Devaughn Johnson, of the 800 block of Bedrock Drive. He is described as black, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds.

Along with Johnson, Rashard Briggs, 17, Christopher Smith, 23, both of the 1100 block of Alpha Drive, and Angela Smith, 30, of the 70 block of Cambridge Arms, were charged with second-degree burglary, larceny after breaking and entering, possession of stolen goods and conspiracy.

They were each given separate $25,000 secured bonds.
