Roanoke Rapids man charged in stabbing

The Halifax County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man in connection with an April 30 stabbing in the Zoo Road area of Roanoke Rapids.

Ricky Wilson Clements, 54, was charged Saturday with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. He was given an $80,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court May 16.

Details of the stabbing incident weren't released.

Clements has 11 convictions dating to 1985, including assault inflicting serious injury, according to state Division of Adult Correction records.

Looks like he already got at least three strikes.

Do our Judges think that our Police Officers just love to chase people like this just for the fun of it? LOCK'EM UP and keep'em there for 30 years. When they get out they will be too old to fight and raise hell. That is the only way that most of these kind of people will ever be corrected.
