A man was shot in Goldsboro Sunday, making the city's second shooting in three days.

Police said the victim was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital after being shot in the Jefferson Street area late Sunday afternoon. His name, condition and other details of the shooting haven't been released.

On Thursday, Khyrie Roberts, 21, was killed in a drive-by shooting in the parking lot of the Madison Market on Holly Street.

That's a block down the street from the last shooting and the wild Fairview projects. I see Fairview circle is once what it use to be. A breeding ground for violence.

Goldsboro needs to get some guts and clean up certain areas.

Isn't this the Rev. Barber's home town? Why does he not try to help stop the violence and the killings in the black community?

Oh, wait, he is too busy protesting the gay marriage amendment and getting arrested for disordery conduct in Raleigh, never mind...

not one standing in line getting all the state aid available while the other is either in jail or out running from bondsman

A mother has to do what she can in support of her children. When a man will not stand up to his responsibilites and the courts really does nothing, well you can easily see why these children grow up in single parent homes, mostly mothers. Pray for the children that they will grow up and not be the same as their fathers.

Like I have said many times, loaded guns in the wrong hands. Many don't have the experience in knowing how to handle a loaded gun. All they know is to aim and pull the trigger. They thinks its make them bad.... but without that gun in their waist line, they are just like a 2 year old. Parents again, teach your children in the right way at the start of one when they are young and continue your teaching until they are 18, hopefully they will not depart from your good teaching and stray into serious trouble.
