Suspects sought in attempted auto theft

Fayetteville, N.C. — The Fayetteville Police Department is searching for two men who attempted to steal three vehicles from the parking lot of a Carmax located at 521 North McPherson Church Road on April 12.

Police say the parking lot was blocked by a security gate and the men left the vehicles after failing to drive them through the gate.

Security cameras in the parking lot captured images of the men. The security footage is available online and can be viewed on the Fayetteville Police Department's YouTube page.
