A Garner man was being held under a $5 million bond in the Wake County jail on Thursday on multiple charges of raping a child under the age of 13.

Ezequiel Andrade Estrada, 22, of 3306 Countisbury Court, was arrested on Wednesday. He is charged with five counts of first-degree rape of a child for incidents dating as far back as Jan. 22.

It is unclear how Estrada and the child knew one another.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is investigating Estrada's citizenship status to determine if he will be deported back to Mexico, his home country.

It is so sick how some people have turned this into a immigration thing. I'm sorry to burst some bubbles but people should know facts before they run there mouths. People without SSN can't collect welfare or any other wonderful benefits that this country has to offer.

Rape a child, get a free trip home?

I hope I'm reading that wrong.

Why don't we let this become an immigration debate AFTER this man's residency status has been determined?

"And the liberal democrats want all of them to stay and help our neighborhoods-MadMaxx" Not this one. I am still confused as to how they are issued social security numbers in order to pay taxes, when they are known illegals. Healthcare is givin to them freely, we have a Mexican Consulate here in Raleigh where the can sign up for financial assistance upon their illegal arrival. I don't have a problem with any race whatsoever. What I do have a problem with is the economic burden it's placed on American. If they are not citizens of the United States then why do they receive so much financial benefit, then send their income home to their family out of the country. There are pedophiles of all races and it's deplorable. Race has nothing to do with this crime. It's funny to me that illegals have the right to marry in our country, they are issued social security cards and yet a lot of people in this state have much more tolerence on this issue than they do our gay Americans. Yep I went there.

So natural born American citizens don’t do this kind of thing or have you forgotten about the “Cary Santa???”

Of course, do you want to add to the problem allowing this to happen AND giving away hard earned money to these people? I don't.-ncouterbanks69

You could use the same argument against people having children. ‘If no one reproduces no more criminals would come into this world.’
