A former Johnston County sheriff's deputy was arrested this week on five felony counts of second-degree sexual exploitation.

Arrest warrants allege that Dennis Gerald Jones, 61, of Selma, had videos and photos on his computer of children engaged in sex acts with adults.

Search warrants in the case also allege that, at one point, a teenage girl he knew provided nude or illicit photos of herself in exchange for Jones driving her places.

The girl told State Bureau of Investigation agents that Jones also touched her inappropriately.

Jones, who worked with the Johnston County Sheriff's Office as a special deputy in the 1980s, was in the Johnston County jail Thursday under a $200,000 bond.

Ahhh yes.....another fine excuse of a heterosexual! xylem01

This has to be the dumbest post all day. What on earth has this got to do with him being a pervert? You don't think there are perverts among the gay and lesbian folks? Clueless and classless.

Cops former too always think they are above the law. None is ever above the law. Just do a crime cops and you will see that justice can be easily served to you. You are no better than the average citizen when you commit a crime of any sort.

it's ok to profile the police officer but if the officer profiles a crook that is bad. OK

Ahhh yes.....another fine excuse of a heterosexual!
