Two soldiers assigned to Fort Bragg's 2nd Battalion, 504th Infantry, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division were killed Sunday when their unit was attacked with an improvised explosive device, according to the Department of Defense.
Pfc. Michael J. Metcalf, 22, Boynton Beach, Fla., and 1st Lt. Jonathan P. Walsh, 28, Cobb, Ga., died in the attack in Paktia, Afghanistan.
