Parkton, N.C. — A 70-year-old Parkton man who walked away from a rest home Monday night has been found safe, authorities said.
A Silver Alert was issued Monday night for Adam Fields Jr., who is believed to be cognitively impaired.
He was last seen at Green Manor Rest Home, at 1165 W. Parkton Tobermory Road.
Fields was found in Cumberland County Tuesday evening, the Robeson County Sheriff's Office said. He was doing fine and officers took him home.
