Hope Mills man accused of killing dog, attempted rape

Hope Mills, N.C. — Police have charged a Hope Mills man accused of killing his dog and trying to rape a woman in his neighborhood.

Shane Forrest Evilsizer, 36, of the 5500 block of Brown Street, faces two counts of cruelty to animals, one count of breaking and entering and one count of attempted first-degree rape in connection to the April 6 incidents.

Hope Mills police said officers had already responded to reports that Evilsizer was behaving aggressively and in a hostile manner.

The last time they responded, officers found he had killed the dog and that he also broke into a woman's home and tried to sexually assault her.

He also injured the woman's dog, which was trying to protect its owner, police said.

Evilsizer was jailed under a $305,000 bond.

Its truly sad situation, The name Evilsizer sees many evil things. CREEPY I know the man and his family asked his family for help 3 years ago and know one wanted to help, beileve or show love. He needed some help sounds like he finally snapped. My condolences to the woman ( victim )

About the name Evilsizer. I hate to admit any relation to this scoundrel. But the name is German and comes form Jakob Uebelschauser who immigrated to America in about 1777. All Evilsizer, Evilsizor, Evelsizer, Evensizer names are related to this immigrant. Somewhere along the line this guy is in my tree, regretfully. Just so you know,. not all of us with this name are evil as it suggests. -sandijkoscak

If you do a search of his name, he comes up on an adoption registry looking for his birth mother. He may be in your tree, but possibly not by blood.

they simply put it in the order it happened first he killed the dog then went down the road and went after the woman
