Fayetteville, N.C. — Cyber-crimes detectives with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office on Monday charged an Army officer at Fort Bragg after child pornography was found on his computer.
Lt. Alexander Pace, 23, of 43 London Drive, was charged with 19 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and 19 counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He was being held in the Cumberland County jail under a $425,000 bond.
Investigators found images of minors engaged in sexual activities on Pace's home computer, authorities said. The alleged offenses occurred between March 2011 and last March 21, they said.
