Raleigh police on Thursday were investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital around midnight.

According to authorities, a man who was a passenger in a Ford Crown Victoria traveling on Green Road near Brockton Drive was grazed in the head by a bullet. The gunshot shattered the left rear passenger window of the car.

When police arrived on the scene, they also found a white SUV that had been hit on Green Castle Court, off Brockton Drive. Authorities believe the Crown Victoria hit the SUV after the shooting.

The passenger was taken to the hospital, treated and released, authorities said. His name was not released.

Police have not made any arrests. No other information was released.

Back in the 80s and 90s the mini city area was a nice area.

Why would anyone want to live in Raleigh?

"That has to be the worst area in all of Raleigh.

uba"

NO IT'S NOT. Not as nice as it once was but certainly not the worst in the city. They should have left the soccer fields instead of building all those apartments (IMHO). Most of the property is fairly well kept up along Green Rd but I don't go over there at night.

We need a controlled burn to weed out all of the parasites in this part of Raleigh.

40andtired - you speak of "noone" - shouldn't the first letter of his last name be upper case? And, since he causes so much trouble, shouldn't you provide a first name as well?
