These are the most known outdoor courts in Fayetteville. However, if you're not from that area you don't go play there. There is normally a shooting there every couple years or so.

You do know some of them had that vigil out of respect for a fellow classmate, because they knew the student personally. It's understandable that they were upset because he died. They're only human. In no way did any of those students condone his felonious actions. If some did, it was due to some distrust of cops in general. Statick

Then they should have attended his memorial service and paid private respects to his family NOT use publicly funded resources in an attempt to further segregate themselves from non black Fayetteville community. They not only "condoned" his actions they made a serious attempt to get public sympathy for them.

Oh and by the way...that police officer was responded to a call from residents of this predominately black neighborhood who, apparently correctly, feared for their safety.

Some of the taxpayers in the FSU service area are becoming a little peeved at their self segregating attitudes. "Historically" should mean just that...HISTOR

Seabrook Park is not in the MIDDLE of Fayetteville State University. It's across Langdon Street from it, but not a part of the campus. There is little reason to connect FSU to the shooting, unless we find out there was one of their students involved.

Seabrook is where the best players in the city gather to play. It's a rough game of street ball out there. I don't know who would get mad enough to go shoot someone though. That's tragic.

You know of course that "An armed society is a polite society." Kind of like the mythological Old South used to be. If you needed to back up your mouth with your life, your mouth was used less.
