Goldsboro police are searching for two men who are accused of attempted first-degree murder and other charges.

Braddock Bernard Gross III, 20, of 1218 Franklin St., and Billy Renaldo Hamm Jr., 19, of 1212 E. Elm St., are accused of shooting Antonio Lamont Deans on March 25.

Deans, who was a passenger in a vehicle at the time he was shot, was found near the intersection of Poplar Street and Westview Court, police said.

He was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital and then air-lifted to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. His condition was not released.

Gross and Hamm are each charged with four counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of discharging a weapon into an occupied conveyance in operation and one count of discharging a weapon into occupied property causing serious bodily injury.

Anyone with information about the two men should call Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255 or Investigator Crawford at 919-580-4213.

abbynork, I read what he said and I assume it was an attempt at sarcasm. However, I understood the underlying point, hence my question.

Here we go stereotyping and race profiling et again! Everybody knows it was a white guy that did the shooting. This post is just another crack at sarcasm and iß in now way intended to stir up any feelings of hate or discontent.

fuzzmom - he said just the opposite. No justice no peace, right?

retiredcfcc, are you saying that all black males "look like the typical kind to shoot someone"?

Why is everyone almost always blaming black males for violent crimes?
