Durham, N.C. — A Durham man wanted on a rape charge and probation violation was arrested Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Linwood Fredrick Clay, 23, faces one count of first-degree rape from an incident reported earlier this month, police said Tuesday. He was wanted on previous charges of communicating threats, harassing phone calls and failure to register as a sex offender. Police said he is also a probation absconder.
Clay was taken into custody in the 2500 block of Glenbrook Drive.
