Clinton, N.C. — A 7-year-old boy who was hit by a car in Clinton Monday afternoon has died, a hospital official said Tuesday.
Investigators said that Kolin Robbins was playing in the leaves at the edge of a yard on Park Avenue around 2:30 p.m. when he stepped into the street and was struck. The driver, who was traveling about 20 mph, got out to help the child immediately, police said.
