Durham police are investigating after a man's body was found along a street Sunday morning.

The body was found in the 2600 block of Englewood Avenue around 10:30 a.m., police said.

Although police do not suspect foul play, they have asked that anyone with information about how the man came to be there call Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200.

Police have not released the name of the man, pending notification of his family.

@jackflash & Wiser_now, why are you shooting the messenger? Why the attack? If you don't want to do what you are commanded to do by your deity, that's up to you.

It's funny how anti-religious people so often mock people of faith for being too literal, then turn around and use such literal, unyielding interpretations themselves to try to corner the faithful. "Funny" as in hypocritical, that is.

Anyhoo, my thoughts and prayers go out to the deceased and his or her loved ones.

isiah3315 - you go ahead and pray for the man and his family.

hereandnow - Why are you trying to create conflict where there is none? Slow afternoon? You go ahead and don't pray and I'm sure isiah3315 will have no objection.

@isaiah3315, if you choose to try to communicate with your supernatural being, be sure to do so in the privacy of your own room, in the closet...and shut the door. In fact, you shouldn't even be telling us what you're doing lest you be labeld a "hypocrite...to be seen by men". Of course, that's only if you want to follow the words of Jesus speaking in Matthew 6:5-6.

when read read they dont expect foul play that means dead we need to pray for the family of the person
