Three arrested after Raleigh shooting

Three men were arrested Sunday after an early morning shooting in Raleigh that left one man injured, police said.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Three men were arrested Sunday after an early morning shooting in Raleigh that left one man injured, police said.

The shooting took place 4005 New Bern Ave. around 2:30 a.m. Responding officers found Frank Brandon Black, 38, outside that address with a gunshot wound to the left shoulder.

Black was taken to WakeMed and is expected to recover.

Raleigh police broadcast a description of a white vehicle believed to be involved in the shooting. A short time later, Knightdale police stopped the vehicle and arrested three men inside.

Eduardo Gutierrez Colon, 31, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of cocaine. Pedro Estra Arroyo, 34, and Jesus Arroyo, 18, were charged with possession of cocaine.

All three were taken to the Wake County jail.
