Authorities are investigating a shooting that happened Tuesday afternoon at a Raleigh apartment complex.

Police responded shortly before 4 p.m. to the 4200 block of Middle Oaks Drive at The Gardens at Wynslow Park, where they found Christopher M. Wheeler, 34. He was transported to WakeMed with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.

Further details about the shooting weren't available, but a police spokesman said it did not appear to be a random act.

Twenty seven 8”x10” colored glossy photographs with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each one was to be used as evidence against us. LOL. Great song.

Where is the crime stats for Raleigh? Where is the crime map? Why is it not part of the story? Geezz.. You can bet if this was Durham there would be crime maps, crime stats, 5x7 color glossy pictures with circles and arrows and description on the back detailing out all the details....but Raleigh..eh.

Although crime is everywhere, Durham has a higher frequency of violent crime than surrounding communities. Check out some crime databases. Or do they need to wake up also.
