Raleigh, N.C. — Garner police are searching for a man in connection with an attempted robbery Saturday morning at the Rite Aid store at 2311 Timber Dr.
Authorities said the man entered the store just after 10 a.m. and tried to rob the pharmacy of prescription drugs. He had a black semi-automatic handgun, police said.
The man left the store after employees refused to give him any drugs.
The man is described as white male between 45-50 years old. He was more than 6-feet tall, between 250 and 275 pounds and was wearing a ball cap, sunglasses, black or dark colored jacket, white or grey T-shirt and tan cargo pants.
