Fayetteville, N.C. — A Fayetteville woman and her boyfriend have been arrested charged in connection with the shooting of a 4-year-old child.
Investigators said Qunisha Edward's son shot himself with a gun on Aug. 26. Police were notified about a bullet lodged in the boy's hip two weeks ago.
Edwards turned himself in Friday night and was given $100,000 secured bond.
Edwards, 26, and her boyfriend Vincent Massey, 25, are facing charges of child neglect, failure to store a firearm to protect a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
Massey also faces a charge of possession of a firearm by a felon. He turned himself in Saturday and receieved $185,000 secured bond.
