A car crashed through the front of a state Division of Motor Vehicles driver's license office in Fayetteville on Wednesday, closing the office until next week, officials said.

The car slammed into the office, at  841-A Elm St., at Eutaw Village and Bragg Boulevard, at about noon. No injuries were reported, and there was no word on what caused the crash.

The storefront window was shattered, and the bricks around it were damaged, officials said.

DMV officials suggested people use the driver's license office at 2439 Gillespie St. in Fayetteville until the damaged office is repaired and can reopen.

Dudes, how do ya'll know it was an elderly driver! Sounds like a clear case of profiling to me. I have seen younger people driving those kinds of cars lately, although, I admit the wheels looked different. Aghh Man! There I go profiling! Forget I brought it up.

WOW it wasn't a Toyota. I thought that every instance of driving into a building was supposed to be a Rogue Toyota that has run Amok. (Note Sarcasm)

"Ooooop's, did I do that?"

Old people and driving. Good thing no one lost a leg like in the Cameron Village incident!

And it's a Buick! I know it was an elderly person. The only cars that I hate to get behind are Buicks & Oldsmobiles. The cars are fine, but the little gray heads peeking over the dashboard cant seem to reach the gas pedal to make them move fast enough. In this case, they couldnt reach the break either.
