A teen committed to a juvenile detention center in Concord escaped while on a home visit, the state Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention stated in a news release Sunday. The juvenile, identified only as "Jamaal L.," was last seen at 1511 Liberty St. in Durham around 10 p.m. Saturday.
