Folks geared up for Obama inauguration

Tuesday is an early day. Buses from Raleigh join 21 others from North Carolina at RFK Stadium, where they will park and take a shuttle to the mall. Folks are worried about the weather. And, even though I grew up here, I was reminded of the winters in D.C. Monday. I must have gotten soft in my six years in Raleigh. Anyway, everyone is excited. We're seeing people from all over the country at this hotel: all ages, races, etc... There is a slice of America here. It's something to see.

Katie Couric was way out of line when she said "some are cheering because they're glad he'll be gone", in reference to President Bush being cheered.

Sad to say, she probably is correct. out w the old in w the new, no matter what that will bring!
