Eight of North Carolina's 13 representatives – three Democrats and five Republicans – voted against the health care overhaul bill approved by the House of Representatives Saturday.

McDonald's haz-mat incident hospitalizes six
Six people were hospitalized after 31 workers and customers were exposed to a haz-mat situation at a McDonald's restaurant in Knightdale Sunday morning. The nature and cause of the haz-mat situation hasn't been determined.
