Santa arrives in Raleigh Christmas parade
Despite record cold, about 50,000 people lined the streets of downtown Raleigh for the annual Christmas parade.

'Long stretch of cold' ahead
Bitter cold weather is expected to continue Saturday night with temperatures expected in the lower 20s, WRAL Meteorologist Kim Deaner said.

With temperatures expected near the freezing mark, coffee shops along the route of the Raleigh Christmas Parade are preparing for a busy day.
