Vehicle appears to catch fire on I-40 during evening commute in Wake County

A vehicle appears to have caught on fire Wednesday evening in Wake County.

WRAL News spotted a vehicle that appeared to be on fire around 6 p.m. on I-40 near the Wade Avenue exit.

It is unclear what caused the fire, but at least two lanes of traffic appear to be affected by the situation.
