More than 21% of North Carolina's four-year-olds enrolled in the state's pre-kindergarten programs during the 2022-2023 school year, up from the prior year but still below the state's pre-pandemic highs, according to the National Institute for Early Education Research.

The event, which is free for job seekers, will be held at the McKimmon Center at North Carolina State University, 1101 Gorman St. in Raleigh. 

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — WRAL and the Capital Area Workforce Development Board will present the <a href="https://www.wral.com/lifestyles/heretohelp/page/8147892/">WRAL JobLink Career Expo</a> on Aug. 30.

The event, which is free for job seekers, will be held at the McKimmon Center at North Carolina State University, 1101 Gorman St. in Raleigh.

A complete list of workshops has not been released, but the expo will have a resume station, computer terminals and human resource representatives on hand for one-on-one consultations.

Parking will be free for the event but limited, so job seekers might want to arrive early, organizers said.
