RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — A man shot three women then himself late Friday on a road in Research Triangle Park, according to the Durham County Sheriff's Office.

Lt. Stan Harris said Sunday that Brinton Marcell Millsap, 23, of 8 Mellon Court in Durham, was found lying in the road near the intersection of Park Office Drive and N.C. Highway 54 in Research Triangle Park. He shot three women inside a car, then killed himself, Harris said.

Authorities said the three women who were his victims were all also from Durham. They were: Alexandria J. Baker Pierce, 23, of 2327 Oriole Drive, Amesha Alia Page-Smith, 24, of 822 Rome St., and Adrianne Celeste Stevens, 22, of 2022 Buffalo Way. Each woman had multiple gunshot wounds. The shootings were not random, Harris said.

Deputies found the car just before midnight as they responded to a call about the gunshots.

Anyone who may have been in the area and seen anything unusual from 11 p.m. Friday to midnight is asked to call the Durham County Sheriff's Office criminal investigations division at 919-560-0880.
