Badin Lake near New London and Albemarle is beautiful as well. It is between High Rock Lake and Lake Tillery. Badin is surrounded by the beautiful Uwharrie National Forest. Absolutely perfect!

If you've never been to Lake Toxaway or to Lake Junaluska, you've missed 2 beautiful parts of NC. These lakes and our mountains teamed together are phenominally beautiful.
