Job seeker access sites cut down on wait

These sites, often set up in churches and community centers, are similar to offices of the  Employment Security Commission in that they all offer basic job-seeker services and aim to help cut back on waits and help serve more people. Some services, such as access to other partner services, however, are only available at the local ESC offices.

The four new sites in Wake and Johnston counties bring the number in both counties to 13.

The access points are funded by work force development boards throughout the state.
