Raleigh, N.C. — Police arrested four Raleigh residents accused of stealing from various stores on Black Friday.
Kumba Gbondo, 29, 1015-F Fox Hunt Lane, is charged with misdemeanor larceny and resisting a public officer.
Police said Gbondo took clothing and perfume worth $325 from Kohl’s, according to arrest warrants. She is also charged with removing electronic sensors from two bottles of perfume.
Officers tried to arrest Gbondo as she entered her vehicle. When officers gave her instructions to exit the vehicle, they said she attempted to slam the door.
Gbondo was being held under $4,000 bonds at the Wake Count jail Friday.
Cleo Wilkins Jr., 57, of 822 Cotton Place, is accused of taking assorted men’s colognes, women’s perfume, a wallet, sunglasses and deodorant from a Marshalls department store, according to an arrest warrant. The items totaled $221.
Wilkins was being held under a $700 bond at the Wake County jail Friday.
Donna Faye Mercer, 31, of 5311 Evergreen Forest Way, is charged with larceny and removing inventory control devices from merchandise at Hudson Belk at Crabtree Valley Mall, according to an arrest warrant. The merchandise totaled $445.
Mercer was being held under a $3,000 bond at the Wake County jail Friday.
Ermin Eli Mejia, 28, of 109 Torrence Circle NW, is charged with larceny after police said she tried to steal Baby Phat Goddess Perfume from the J.C. Penny at North Hills Mall, according to the arrest warrant. The item was worth $44.
Mejia was being held under an $800 bond at the Wake Count jail Friday.
