Ohio man charged in Nash woman's death
Authorities arrested an Ohio man Friday afternoon and charged him in the death of a Spring Hope woman whose remains were found last week in southeastern Ohio.

Richard Howard, 32, of McDermott, Ohio, was charged with gross abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence and drug trafficking, Scioto County, Ohio, Sheriff Marty Donini said in a statement.
Investigators charged Howard after interviewing him and others in recent days.
The remains of Nichole Alloway, 20, were found in an abandoned house near Otway, Ohio. Her family reported her missing on June 10 to police in Portsmouth, which is about 20 miles from Otway.
Alloway's family said she went to Ohio two months ago to visit an 18-year-old man she had met on the Internet. They said the encounter didn't go well and that she had planned to take a bus back to Nash County.
Investigators said they believe Alloway and Howard were taking drugs, and she died in his car. They said Howard dumped her body in a rocky area off Ohio Highway 73.
The cause of Alloway's death hasn't been determined, and Donini said evidence will be presented to a grand jury after forensic reports are completed to determine whether to issue further charges in Alloway's death.
