Goldsboro police charged a store clerk with murder after officers found a man with a stab wound at Bob's Convenience Store, 1714 S. Slocumb St., Monday night.

Emergency crews took the victim, Terry Lavon Singleton, to Wayne Memorial Hospital where he died.

Officers arrested Mohssen Almojaded, a clerk at Bob’s Convenience Store, and held him in the Wayne County Jail without bond.

Police did not say what led to the stabbing, which happened outside the store. Authorities declined to release more information.

Anyone with information is asked to call Investigator Chris Crawford at 580-4213 or Crime Stoppers at 735-2255.

Stabbed him in the back outside the store in the parking lot. Sounds like self defense to me (sarcasm alert).

"The point is to eliminate the threat by killing it. And you do what you have to do to kill that threat no matter what the consequences may be."

The consequences would be criminal and civil charges. "Officer, I did what I had to do to STOP the threat, I felt my life was in danger" Now if it required a double tap to stop the threat then so be it.

I live in Goldsboro - this area is BAD. I doubt anyone WANTS to move there by choice.

Here is another where he had some upcoming court dates in Wayne & Duplin Co. Mr. Singleton was a fine outstanding citizen, NOT!
