Margaret Johnson, 89, was a native of Guilford County. A homemaker, she was a member of the Sapling Ridge United Methodist Church near Pittsboro in Chatham County and the Alpha and Sunshine Sunday School Class.
She outlived her husband, Otto Johnson, a daughter and two sons. She is survived by a son, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, at Smith and Buckner Funeral Home in Siler City. Funeral services are Thursday at 2 p.m. at Smith and Buckner Funeral Home Chapel, 230 North Second Avenue. Burial will follow in Saplin Ridge United Methodist Cemetery.
