A Wendell woman indicted Tuesday on an indecent liberties charge involving a 9-year-old boy told his guardian she was trying to teach him about sex education, according to a search warrant returned this week.

In an affidavit they wrote to justify why they wanted access to Trecia Annette Hodge's cell phone, investigators say the boy told them that Hodge asked him to use the phone to take a photo of her vagina.

Hodge told authorities that the boy saw photos on her cell phone, but then changed her story to say he walked in on her while she was taking the photos of herself, the affidavit states. She told investigators she left the phone open on the bed when she left the room and returned to find the boy looking at the photos.

The alleged encounter occurred during the Christmas holiday, and the boy reported it to a school social worker on Jan. 15, the affidavit said.

Hodge, 36, of 7305 Buck Road, was arrested Feb. 4 and charged with one count of indecent liberties with a child. She is out of jail on a $15,000 bond.

Attempts to reach Hodge for comment Wednesday were unsuccessful.

eww!

I think I heard on the news that the one that received the pic/s was in jail.....had a cell phone in jail.....I hope I misunderstood what I heard...because it just keeps getting worse.

seems to me that its a misunderstanding but really that boy must not have many options open to him to look at ...things... i mean social workers will turn you in for anything!

awomnsptofview,

Just FYI..the D/A does not assess a bond. The magistrate is the one that sets bond and then a judge can up or lower it at a bond hearing.

Wow. Those pics might have shown up on the CraigsList casual encounters list if not for the intervention of our fine law enforcers. They earned their pay on this one.
