    I can't believe I got a "breaking news" e-mail on a $1,000 fire?

I remember the days of having to go through Wilson from G-Ville to Raleigh and back before the 264 Bypass was built. I definately don't miss those days....

    Dear Doug,

I promise I didn't complain...by the looks of that "flea market", the place itself was an insult to Wilson! And so is hwy 301...awful and dangerous area.

    Peace & Love

I spent nearly 30 years in Wilson and Kenly. The only reason I remember it is because for nearly 14 years I had to drive past it daily to get to Kenly. It's always been a run down hole in the ground type place. I don't know what it looks like now, but it used to look like someone who never used a hammer before had some lumber given to them and they decided to get into the flea market business.

I actually received an e-mail to my GoLo registered e-mail address from WRAL about my comment, I guess it struck a nerve.
I'm sorry, but I still don't see how this is really news worthy.

Wilson is not only WRAL's coverage area, we have a bureau office there!

I don't think it was even in the WDT...or WT, as it's now called. 30 yrs. in Wilson - never heard of the place.

Wow, to start with...that place is a dive, and a fire hazard.

Secondly, I can't believe this made WRAL's news. I could understand it being in the WDT, but WRAL?

If the whole place would have caught on fire I certain it would look much better today. What a dump.
