Lillington, N.C. — Free preparation of individual tax returns and e-filing will be offered again this year at the Harnett County Public Library, 601 Main St.
Tax help will be available Wednesday from Feb. 4 to April 1. Tax preparers will be at the library from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Please call 919-893-3446 for more information.
Tax assistance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Anyone wishing tax assistance is encouraged to come early to sign up.
This program is sponsored by Campbell University’s Lundy-Fetterman School of Business and the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
The Erwin Public Library, 110 West F St., is also providing free tax preparation on Thursday mornings from Feb. 5 through April 9.
Hours for tax assistance in Erwin are from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. Appointments are required by calling 919-893-7579.
