RALEIGH, N.C. — Three men and two juveniles have been charged with a Tuesday slaying about six blocks east of Moore Square in downtown Raleigh, police said Friday.

Anthony Dontez Wright, 28, was found shot to death Tuesday evening on the 300 block of Camden Street, police said.

A 15-year-old was arrested Wednesday and charged through a juvenile petition with murder, police said. Four more arrests were made early Friday, including a 14-year-old, police said.

Rashon Lakeith McNeil, 16, Markell Antonio Watson, 16, and Jerod Lee Harrington, 18, were each charged with murder and attempted robbery. They were being held Friday at the Wake County Jail.

The attempted armed robbery charges against the three men stem from events that culminated with Wright's shooting, police said.

The case remains under investigation, and police asked anyone with information to call the Raleigh Police Department's Major Crimes Task Force at 919-996-3555.
