The four suspects in the death of Matthew Silliman of Apex were indicted Tuesday by a grand jury.

Allegra Rose Dahlquist, 17, of 601 Walcott Way, Cary; Ryan Patrick Hare, 18; of 100 Walnut Hill Court, Apex; Aadil Shahid Khan, 17, of 901 Bristol Blue St., Apex; and Drew Logan Shaw, 16, of 107 Woolard Way, Apex, each face one count of murder.

Hare and Shaw were also indicted on one count of conspiracy to commit murder.

Wake County deputies found Silliman's body Dec. 2 at 4221 Olive Branch Lane after receiving a tip from Apex police. According to Wake County real estate records, the property where the body was found belongs to members of Dahlquist's family.

Arrest warrants said the homicide occurred Nov. 30; Silliman was reported missing on Nov. 26, and he was the subject of a Silver Alert.

The suspects are believed to have been friends with Silliman, a student at Apex High School. Dahlquist and Khan are seniors at Apex High School, a school district spokesman said. Shaw is a sophomore at Panther Creek. Hare withdrew from Panther Creek in February.

jealousy and revenge are always good motives for murder.

Just wait until the rest comes out. This will be one case you will wish you did not hear the details on.

N&O now reporting cause of death was asphyxiation.

ok dataclerk, You can think that all you want. Escaped from Wake- You are correct about the parents & police not helping, but I will give it to AMS they tried. They along with his neighbors did their part of trying to get him help. The school pressed charges but got the "let's wait and see" letter. I still talk to friends in HC and they really wish the police had paid more attention to the years of complaints. When Ryan walked into the pool last year pulled a "gun" out of his pants and pointed it at little kids in the pool and acted like he was shooting them one by one, I was done. Called the police they went to his house and he showed them a "paintball" gun. "he was just joking around" they said. When we talked to his parents they said, "so, call the police maybe they can do something". That night 2 homes of families that stood up to him had damage to their cars. Called police again was told nothing they could do. Until you have lived by Ryan, you can not understand.

So you easily gave up. If you had not been so scared you might been able to have helped this young man. -Dataclerk
