7-Day Forecast
7-Day Forecast

Colder air will move into the state Friday afternoon as high pressure from Canada makes its way into the southeast.

Friday will see highs in the upper 40s to low 50s with partly cloudy skies.

Those attending Durham’s annual Lucky Strike Tower Lighting on Friday night should bundle up to stay warm.

The event, on the American Tobacco Campus, will include music and fireworks. The event starts at 6 p.m. with the lighting at 7 p.m. WRAL’s Ken Smith is the emcee.

The clouds, along with the cool air, will increase Saturday, and another cold front will roll in Sunday.

Saturday’s highs will be in the mid to upper 40s. Counties north of the Triangle could see a few flurries Saturday night.

Sunday will be mostly sunny, windy and colder.

LET IT SNOW!!!

All you Fishel Followers listening to his "models are at war" mumbo jumbo, or his already pushing a forecast to the extremes for the chance of a few flakes certain to share his depression when he has enough coffee to smell reality and see clearly that there is " a definitive NO" to his wishful forecasting should realize Mr. Fabulous is clueless!

I can't believe the meteorologists are calling for mid-60's next week. WRONG. They are going by the European model which is wrong (this time)

How is it yesterday there was an article on here about how the cold air was coming and was here to stay, yet i look at the forecast and next Tuesday and Wednesday are both 65 degrees? That doesnt sound like some huge cold air mass settling in to me.

It is not cold, it may get cold but the headline Carolina its cold outside is incorrect
