Raleigh, N.C. — Police believe that a robbery attempt led to a shooting at a movie theater in Wakefield Commons in north Raleigh Friday night.
The shooting occurred at Marquee Cinema, 10600 Common Oaks Drive, off Capital Boulevard, around 10 p.m., the watch commander said.
Braxton Henderson, who runs concessions at the cinema, said someone tried to rob a manager who was sitting in the box office area.
The person then shot the manager, according to Henderson. The extent of the manager's injuries were unknown.
Authorities launched a search for the shooter.
