Dive teams continue search for missing Granville mom

Posted — UpdatedCREEDMOOR, N.C. — Teams continued to search on Tuesday for a missing Granville County mother, family members said.
Dive teams searched around Granville County bridges Tuesday morning but did not find anything, family member Pat Currin said.
Currin’s daughter, Kelly Morris, 28, was last seen on the night of Sept. 3 by her husband, Scott, and children at their home at 3220 Tump Wilkins Road in Stem.
The next day, authorities found her car and personal belongings in an undeveloped subdivision about a mile from the home, shortly after firefighters responded to a fire at the residence.
Investigators believe the fire was set and do not believe Morris was at home at the time.
Investigators have asked for bank statements, canceled checks, deposit slips and all other documents pertaining to accounts at BB&T and RBC Bank for the Morrises and for Scott Morris' business, Scott's Towing, according to search warrants released last week.
Authorities have not named any suspects, but have said Scott Morris is what they call a person of interest in Kelly Morris' disappearance.
Volunteers and authorities have conducted numerous searches for Kelly Morris and will continue this weekend in a five-mile radius in Creedmoor. Volunteers found a gasoline can in a swampy area in Creedmoor that authorities said might have come from the Morris home.
Kelly Morris’ family is offering a $30,000 reward for information that leads to finding her.
