HALIFAX, N.C. — The second and third of three men sought in an April murder surrendered to Halifax County sheriff's deputies on Monday, authorities said.

Damien E. "Dang Dang" Mitchell, 23, and Charles "Ossie" Hockaday, 28, brothers from Roanoke Rapids, each surrendered without incident, deputies said. Both men were held without bond on charges of murder and felony conspiracy and scheduled for court appearances on July 16.

Mitchell and Hockaday are accused of the April 3 murder of Jerry Yellorday.

Deputies had said last week that they suspected the two might be staying in the Raleigh area. They did not disclose where either man surrendered.

Trayvon Purnell, 18, of Roanoke Rapids was arrested in the case Friday.

The two arrests finished the search for suspects, deputies said. Mitchell and Hockaday are being held without bond.
